Father and son dress up as Steeler fans for Thomas’ first Halloween. And then after a big mess… we switched to the Halloween “BOO” shirt.
Bundled Up
Do I really have to wear a jacket?
Yes, you do, and this fuzzy hat, too!
40 day weight
We’re using the bathroom scale, so we’ve got a resolution of 0.2 pounds. The guesses:
- Kristel: 13.0 pounds
- Peter: 12.4 pounds
Result: 12.2 pounds*
Stay tuned for the next official weigh-in at the doctor’s office on Friday, November 7.
* – This is calculated by weighing Peter and clothes (238.6 pounds) and then weighing Peter and clothes holding Thomas without clothes (250.8 pounds).
One Month!
Smiling… just in time to celebrate the One-Month-Day. I also decided to celebrate by wearing Gramma Kathy’s wizard-gown. What fun!
Here I am in the big yellow glider chair. We’ll check back later to see how I’ve grown.
I spent my One-Month-Day doing my two favorite things. Eating…
… and Sleeping.
Changing Time
Here I am all wiggling and happy with a fresh clean diaper.
And my froggie cover on top!

some wiggling around
By popular request, we’ve included some pictures of Thomas up close. As you can imagine, it’s hard to get him to hold still long enough to take a picture.
3 week weight
Weight update this morning. The guesses:
- Peter: 10 pounds 10 ounces
- Grandpa Nick: 10 pounds 9 ounces
- Grandpa Jim: 10 pounds 7 ounces
- Kristel: 10 pounds 3 ounces
- Grandma Eileen: 10 pounds 0 ounces
- Grandma Kathy: 9 pounds 15 ounces
The result: 10 pounds 7 ounces *
* – for some reason, he got weighed at the doctor’s today with his clothes on (10 pounds 12 ounces), so we weighed the clothes seperately (4¾ ounces).
bump in the head
We had our first visit to the local hospital on Friday morning for a CT scan of his head, but we’ve found out that the bump on the right side is just a bruise as we initially thought. It’s just taking a bit longer than expected to go down.
