Julie decided she was ready almost 2 weeks early! Gramma Kathy came to stay for a while and then Grampa Jim came, too! Thomas was glad to see Gramma & Grampa, too.

It took a little getting used to at first, but Thomas is warming up to the new addition to our family.
We welcome Julie Caroline Dobratz into the world! Born at the Birth Cottage of Milford, NH, Julie weighed 7 pounds, 6.5 ounces and was 20 3/4 inches tall.
Perhaps the best Christmas present Thomas got was the complimentary toy bus from the Boston Express Bus company.
This is ingenious. If we get Thomas to wear our shoes, then we can save a ton of money… and then we can buy more Legos.
Sledding was much more fun this year since Thomas thoroughly enjoyed it. Last year he wanted no part of being on the sled and he didn’t even want daddy to go down the hill by himself.
Yes (especially for those from more moderate climates), the town of Derry sends out large snow blower vehicles to clear snow from sidewalks in our neighborhood.
This new year promises to bring about many changes. We are expecting a baby girl in March. This should be interesting.

Thomas made a number of appearances this Halloween in his zebra costume. It took him a little while to get warmed up to it.
The trick here was getting Thomas to pull the bits out of the pumpkin and not to put them back in.
