We had our first visit to the local hospital on Friday morning for a CT scan of his head, but we’ve found out that the bump on the right side is just a bruise as we initially thought. It’s just taking a bit longer than expected to go down.

OK, I just had a minor heart attack – I thought something terrible had happened! Is the bruise from birth?
Now that my heart palpitations have slowed down, I just wanted to say that he is just adorable and that we can’t wait to meet him in person!

Yes, I guess I should have mentioned that the bruise was from the birth. He had one on the left side and the right side of his head, but the right side is taking longer to heal.

Welcome to the family Thomas. You are a beautiful baby boy. Looks like you have just the right family to love you and keep you.
