I cannot believe that Thomas is already 10 months, because that means in 2 more months he will be…
( Today was a big picture taking day… so stay tuned! )
Here is my highchair… which is a very good place to discover new and wonderful foods… that help me grow big and strong so I can stand up like this!
Here is the 9 month boy. He weighs in at 27 pounds 7 ounces and he is 29 3/4 inches tall, which puts him in the 90%ile for height. He is now wearing 24 month clothes. He is on the move… good thing the gates are up!
Gramma and Grampa babysat Thomas on their last full day while Mommy went to a conference. It looks like they managed to get a nap out of him!
Thomas turned 8 months while Gramma Kathy and Grampa Jim were visiting. We missed the diaper picture… oops. But at least we got him in the yellow chair!
I’m hiking up a mountain again this year on May 30 to support Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity. We improve communities one house at a time by working with low-income local families to enable them to become home-owners.
If you would like to pledge to support me in this endeavor, see my fundraising page here:

We now return to your regularly scheduled program.
Thomas’ beautiful baptism. He wears a baptism gown that was made in 1917 for his Great-Grandma Carol. Mommy, Gramma Kathy, Auntie Barb, Uncle Alan II, Auntie Fran and many cousins have worn it. What a treasure to wear a 92 year old family baptism gown.
We had a good Easter. Thomas is wearing his new Easter outfit and he found a basket the Easter Bunny “hid” in the middle of the living room. And look, Thomas is wearing his very first pair of shoes!
Since we don’t have another official weigh in until the 9 month visit, we did a quick weigh in today. He’s 26 pounds.
We are up to size 6 disposable diapers and no where near potty training (we need walking and talking). He did have his first “word”: “uh-huh.” It actually made sense in context, but it might have just been a fluke.
Here are the 7 month pics. They are a couple days late because we were too busy celebrating Daddy’s Birthday.
For a while I outgrew my little tub because I’m too long for it. But I’ve rediscovered it now that I can sit up. I love to splash and splash and chew on my U of O duck.
I like snuggling with Great-Grandma. She talked to me and I tried to pull off her glasses.
We went to visit Great-Grandma Dobratz, Grandpa Nick, Grandma Eileen and Uncle Eric. Here I am on Grandpa Nick’s lap after we arrive. It’s past my bedtime. I spent time in lots of laps while we were there. I won’t be sitting still for long, though! We forgot to get a picture with Uncle Eric, so he’ll just have to come visit us so we can get more pictures together.
I can’t believe Thomas already made it to his 1/2 birthday. Wow, time goes so fast. Here are the latest diaper and yellow chair pictures. Enjoy!
All that chewing and drooling until suddenly we discover the very first tooth. If you look close, maybe you can see the little white glint of a brand new baby tooth. Or maybe you can’t see it, but that little point is really there!
